Fort Ransom State Park
Within a 20 minute drive of Lisbon, the park provides opportunities for camping, fishing, picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, cross country skiing, canoeing and boating, wildlife observation and nature photography.  It is also the site of the annual Sodbuster Days Celebrations. www.parkrec.nd.gov

 
The National Scenic Byway
The 63 mile, National Scenic Byway follows the ancient Native American foot paths and pioneer wagon trails along the breathtaking Sheyenne River Valley leading to Lisbon.




 

The National Grasslands
A nature conservatory rich in wildlife and birding opportunities and rare plant species.  Get back to nature 10 miles east of Lisbon along highway 27 in the Grasslands.

 
Sheyenne State Forest
