Lisbon has a wide variety of entertainment throughout the year. The historic 116-year old Lisbon Opera House has several events that appeal to any audience. The Lisbon Scenic Theater runs a different movie almost every weekend of the year. The local bars also provide nightlife entertainment by bringing bands to the community several times a year.
Lisbon also hosts the Ransom County Fair. The old fashion county fair is alive and well in Lisbon! Every year the fair includes hundreds of entries that are judged and put on display, carnival rides and games, special music attractions, a parade and plenty of good country eating!!
Lisbon also puts on a huge display at our Fourth of July Fireworks celebration every year that is held up at the Ransom County Fair grounds
The Stock Car Races are usually standing room only. Spectators enjoy the Tuesday evening races held from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
