Comment: I just wanted to say that after 31 yrs. ago I lived in Lisbon, In facted my mother Virginia Ihme owned the Lisbon Cafe. I was in Lisbon 2 yrs. go and I could not believe how much it grew and is getting big. boy a lot did change! Lisbon and the people their will always have a special place in my heart! Comment: I was born and raised in Lisbon moved to Mpls after high school. haven't been back there since all my relatives are gone.We live in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas now have for quit a few years. enjoy reading parts of the paper online. Elaine

Comment: just for the record, I think it is unfair that you have to be present to win anything with your holiday slips. This time of year people have a lot of things going on and it makes it very difficult to give up everything else going on to be present at a drawing a 3pm on a Saturday right before xmas.

Comment: Thinking of coming to the Lisbon area and doing some waterfowl hunting. would like to rent a house preferably in the country for 4 hunters and their dogs. Are there folks in the area that offer anything like what I'm describing. Do they do much waterfowl hunting in that area? Any information would help. I live on the east coast and fish for a living so I could also bring fresh fish for anyone that likes fish.Thank you for your time and attention concerning this matter. Captain Ken Dempsey

Comment: Hello! I lived the first 8 years of my life in Lisbon; we left in 1942. My best friends were Neil and Myrna Mae Falsing. My father was Aaron Stolinsky, MD. He delivered hundreds of babies--maybe you. He was active in the American Legion and VFW. My mother was Rose Meblin Stolinsky. She was active in the Legion Auxilliary. If you remember any of us, I'd appreciate hearing from you!
